The A+ Friend of Education Award was established to recognize individuals or groups who have made a special and unique contribution to the cause of public education. Every year each of the nine IEA regions selects a recipient for this award based on the goals and guidelines outlined in the Program Description .

Nominations may come from any member or local association within each respective region. No more than one nominee will be accepted from any one source. A timeline has been established and nomination forms are due in IEA region offices by April 7, 2010.

Each region’s A+ Award will be presented at a public ceremony or reception during the month of May. Please contact your region office for details regarding the award ceremony or reception.
