Welcome to Region 4

Region 4, locatged in central southern Idaho, serves the Magic Valley.  It is a geographically large area encompassing nine counties and reaches from Glenns Ferry on the west to Raft River on its eastern border.  It includes Ketchum at its northern edge and in the south ends along the Utah and Nevada borders.  Region 4 includes 20 public school districts and over 85 invididual schools.  There are 1,186 members of the Idaho Education Association living and working within its borders.

The Region 4 office is staffed by the Region Director Bert Marley, a long time educator and former state legislator and by the Associate Debbie White, with over twenty years of service and a wealth of experience.  Both stand ready to assist the needs of members in a variety of ways.  From rights advocacy and bargaining issues to organizing, professional development and education research. The staff of Region 4 provide support, advice and guidance to its members, with the goal of helping Association members to be as successful and as well equipped as possible for the challenges of public education.  The Region 4 office is located in Twin Falls at 808 Eastland Drive, in Suite A.
