VALUE ADDED BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE IEA/NEA
Membership in the Idaho Education Association/National Education Association brings with it an opportunity to participate in many different programs that can save or earn you substantial sums of money. NEA and IEA Member Benefits offer a myriad of programs through which member participants can positively affect their financial well-being. These members are either not available to non-members or cost more for non-members. Some of these benefits are free as a result of membership; some of them can be obtained at reduced cost from what a non-member would pay; some of them create a greater gain than a non-member could receive.
By taking advantage of these member benefits, an IEA/NEA member can recoup, on an annual basis, more than his/her annual dues to the organization.
There is a “FINANCIAL ADVANTAGE” to being a member of the IEA/NEA.
Why should I look at an endorsed program?
Endorsed programs are like membership. The more members that are involved the more bargaining power you have. The NEA and IEA have already done the research for you. Members decide on the types of products they would like to see. The NEA researches and studies various programs and companies. Once a mutual decision is made, an "NEA" program is designed for its membership. With few exceptions, no other individuals, but members and family members, may participate in your programs. These programs are unique and specifically for IEA/NEA Members. The pricing has either been discounted or value-added services have been added that you may not be able to get anywhere else. The more participation in endorsed programs, the more the bargaining power! Remember,
