Building Bridges to Equity Conference Announced PDF Print

The IEA Human and Civil Rights Committee will sponsor the annual Building Bridges to Equity Conference June 19-21 in Boise. The registration deadline is June 6. This year’s conference will address anti-bullying and harassment, special education issues and RTI, English language learner issues, student diversity, legal do’s and don’ts for educators, students with disabilities, and closing the student achievement gap.

Locals and regions are encouraged to form teams to attend the conference to ensure back-home planning and implementation of best practices. IEA will cover lodging and travel expenses.
